Belief with Action Serves Humanity (B.A.S.H.) and Bailey Media Group was born out of a young man's desire and God-given vision to turn his mother's more than 50-year-old legacy into a global phenomenon to Change the World.

Right outside of Charleston, SC, Saint Stephen, SC, was a place of humble beginnings for the B.A.S.H. Founder and CEO, Joseph L. Bailey, who learned from his mother, Elizabeth Bailey-McDaniel, a community activist, who changed the lives of people in a seemingly hapless and hopeless environment of this small town in the rural South. His mother saw the need for and the opportunity to change the community for the better. She addressed economic problems in her community by becoming the catalyst that brought together the person with the need and the person with the resource, for the mutual benefit of the whole community. 

These acts of reciprocity, which blended humanitarianism and economic principles, resulted in a more vibrant community. Through the B.A.S.H., this concept has multiplied on an International scale, on path to World Change.

Joseph L. Bailey has been fervent in his twenty-one year effort, which has garnered him the international support of Movement Members, and in 2010, recognition by the Senate of the State of South Carolina for his dedication, hard work, and continued mission for the betterment of humanity. 

Thanks to this inspiration, its sells have been spread all over the world (50 States, 10 Countries, and Counting), to make sure EVERYONE is afforded with the opportunity to live a free, productive life of purpose through the system God gave his mother decades earlier, that Mr. Bailey is charged to move forward.

 On behalf of my family and I (All Morrisites) we are honored to come together for Dr. Luns C. Richardson, in his passing. 

The longest serving President in modern history, President Richardson’s presence represented bold steps towards equitable representation in college leadership. While his ideas and strategies exemplified the innovative thinking necessary to bring Morris to its current place, it affords the opportunity for us to continue Morris’s legacy of excellence across all areas of academia. As part of the Morris community, we mourn the loss of President Richardson, and we’re thankful for the time we were able to spend with him.

Dr. Luns C. Richardson said, “Mr. Bailey, while you are leaving a Legacy for your family, make sure and come back to Morris College to leave a Legacy for your Morris College Family”.  His passing has inspired a full Commitment from the B.A.S.H. to Fulfill that Dream and Honor.

 "I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream...a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.“

"We will match your capacity to inflict suffering with our capacity to endure suffering.... We will not hate you, but we cannot...obey your unjust laws...we will so appeal to your heart and conscience that we will win you in the process." These words summed up King's philosophy.

His pursuit of justice won him the 

Nobel peace prize in 1964.

In the spring of 1968, Martin Luther King Jr., went to Memphis, Tennessee, to help sanitation workers win better 

wages and working conditions. 

On April 4, the day before a mass march, he was shot and killed by an assassin. King's death, at the age of 39, was mourned not only by his wife and four children but by the whole world. He is buried in Atlanta. Since 1986 his birthday has been a national holiday in the United States, celebrated on the third Monday in January.
