This campaign will generate $50,000,000/month in residuals within 6 months, with all proceeds fueling the launch of 200 Empowerment Life Centers of America—each serving as a solution hub for economic advancement, education, wellness, and equity.

College Legacy and Giveback: Honoring Dr. Luns C. Richardson
On behalf of my family and I, all Morrisites, we are deeply honored to come together in remembrance and tribute to Dr. Luns C. Richardson, the longest-serving president in the history of Morris College, Sumter, SC. His passing marks the end of an era, but his legacy lives on through the countless lives he impacted and the continued progress of the institution he dedicated his life to.
Dr. Richardson's leadership was nothing short of visionary. His tenure as president not only set bold steps toward equitable representation in college leadership but also paved the way for Morris College to thrive in a changing world. His ideas, strategies, and unwavering commitment to excellence shaped the institution into what it is today—a place where students are empowered to thrive academically and grow into future leaders who will serve their communities with purpose and integrity.
As part of the Morris College family, we mourn the loss of President Richardson, but we are also filled with gratitude for the time we had with him. His influence extended far beyond the campus; it reached into the hearts and minds of students, faculty, and alumni alike, inspiring us to dream big, push boundaries, and leave an indelible mark on the world.

In a conversation we shared, he told me, “Mr. Bailey, while you are leaving a legacy for your family, make sure and come back to Morris College to leave a legacy for your Morris College family.” Those words have stuck, and in his passing, they have become a call to action.
The B.A.S.H. (Belief with Action Serves Humanity) community has been inspired by President Richardson’s vision, and we are fully committed to fulfilling the dream he set before us. We will continue to build on the foundation he established, ensuring that Morris College remains a beacon of hope and opportunity for generations to come.

Dr. Richardson’s mantra, "Enter to Learn. Depart to Serve," was not just a slogan; it was a way of life at Morris College. As alumni and supporters, we are tasked with carrying that legacy forward. Our contributions will help to sustain the legacy of Morris College, offering opportunities for students who, like us, understand the value of an education that doesn’t just equip them for a career, but for a lifetime of service to their communities and the world.

Purpose Legacy: Fulfilling the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As we stand on the shoulders of giants, it is an honor and a responsibility to continue the work of those who have paved the way for us. Today, I write not only as a leader but as a servant of a greater cause—a cause that has been rooted in the dream of one of the greatest visionaries this world has ever known, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King’s words still echo through time, carrying a call to action that transcends generations. "I still have a dream," he said, a dream that was deeply rooted in the American dream. He dreamed of a world where his four little children would be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. This is the dream that fueled his tireless pursuit of justice, equality, and human dignity.

In every stride that Dr. King made, his conviction was clear: we must match the capacity to inflict suffering with our capacity to endure suffering. We must not return hatred for hatred but fight against injustice with love and resilience. His philosophy was rooted in peace and the unwavering belief that the heart and conscience of humanity would ultimately prevail.

Dr. King’s pursuit of justice earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. In 1968, he traveled to Memphis to support the sanitation workers in their struggle for better wages and working conditions.
Tragically, on April 4, 1968, just a day before a planned march, Dr. King was assassinated, leaving behind a legacy of courage, love, and dedication to the betterment of humanity. His untimely death at the age of 39 was a devastating loss to his family, but it was felt around the world as we all mourned the loss of a leader whose dream was far greater than himself.
Today, Dr. King’s memory lives on in the hearts of millions, and his dream continues to inspire people across the globe. Since 1986, his birthday has been celebrated as a national holiday, a day of reflection, service, and hope for a better future.
